Hello. I'm Daniil Ponomarenko

Physicist, data acquisition expert and data science enthusiast
with 10+ years of R&D and data analysis experience

Welcome on my web-page!

My name is Daniil, and I’m a physicist, data acquisition expert and data science enthusiast with over 10 years of research experience.

I’m currently part of the ATLAS experiment at CERN, one of the world’s leading scientific laboratories.

As a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University, my research focuses on testing the Standard Model through precision measurements of Drell–Yan angular coefficients in W boson decays.

As a Data Acquisition Expert and Run Coordinator, I’m responsible for the Transition Radiation Tracker (TRT) operations at ATLAS.

I also serve as Integration Coordinator for the L0Global Trigger system, where I lead the development of the FPGA-based test stand and coordinate the integration of this next-generation hardware trigger setup into the ATLAS experiment.
